I saw lots of contrasting elements and zipper embellishments at the  Herve Leger SS2014 show.  For example, if an outfit was black from head to toe he would break up the monotony by embellishing it with gold or silver zippered accents. I love the hand crafted leather pieces that gave some of the dresses a peplum effect. The color scheme of the collection superlative, everything flowed seamlessly from one ensemble to the next. The collection had a sort of hard, biker, rock and roll feel, but it did not shy away from feminine pieces either. The use of what I believe to be Aztec inspired prints was jaw dropping. The dresses at the end of the show played with lines. The dresses showed the many ways that lines could be contorted to give the models an illusion of having curves by highlighting the right parts of the womans body. All of the pieces were very inspiring.
